Agilent 3070 technical training is the best in the world. Those of us who have attended technical training sessions from Agilent would never argue the point. But often a gap exists after the training is completed between the learned classroom knowledge and the "hands on" experience needed to perform back at the ranch, in the real world. Many customers have asked Agilent, as well as members of their third party support program, to develop products and services to bridge this gap, and provide a means for performing the dual role of technical educator and third party software development. A great idea, but never achieved...

Until Now!!!

We’ve designed a core group of technical training classes specifically designed for companies looking to increase the knowledge base of their test engineering staff through a "hands-on", engineering learning environment. Students learn to use the tools they need to become proficient, while developing actual production products. No classroom lab "setups". Just real life, real data, real nightmare situations. And students learn to deal with them.

Courses are offered at different cities in the U.S. throughout the year, and are also available at your site, on your own equipment. Dates of classes can be specified by you to minimize production bottlenecks, and maximize the learning potential.

A few of our course outlines are included.

Board Test Development - Customer / Product Specific

Overview:

This class covers board test development, from cad conversion through the ordering of a test fixture. Emphasis is placed on IPG input file generation, library test files generation, testability review techniques, IPG test generation, and post IPG file reviews to ensure successful test generation.

Students learn to develop board test programs from "the ground up". Every aspect of board test development is covered on the customer's own product. The customer will be working on a "real" job.

Objectives:

  1. Develop a board test program for a specific customer board.
  2. Develop the necessary test fixture files in order to place an order for a HP3070 test fixture from a third party of the customer's choice.
  3. Develop a working knowledge of board test library development.
  4. Develop a working knowledge of the IPG test generation process.
  5. Develop a working knowledge of the board test file inter-relationships.
  6. Develop a working knowledge of how to develop board test programs on the Agilent 3070 using customer specific 'typical' data.
  7. Learn how to interface with test fixture vendors.
