Gr2hp is a translation tool which allows for the migration of GenRad GR228X and GR227X test software and fixtures to the Agilent 3070 environment. The software translator can be used by itself to translate complete GenRad GR228X and GR227X test programs to the Agilent 3070, or can be used in conjunction with a hardware adapter in order to utilize existing GenRad test fixtures on the Agilent 3070. Once migrated, the existing test programs and fixtures can be used on both platforms.

Typical debug time for a translated test program is measured in hours. Typical savings resulting from the use of the translator is measured in thousands of dollars.
