The CS270 translator allows the use of your existing Checksum test fixtures and programs on your Agilent 3070. The translator consists of two components:

• Test Fixture Adapter
  This test fixture adapter allows your existing Checksum test fixtures to be placed directly on your Agilent 3070. Only one test fixture adapter is required for all your existing Checksum test fixtures.

• Software Translator
  This translator migrates your existing Checksum test programs to the Agilent 3070 platform. All Checksum test sequences executed on your existing test equipment are translated to Agilent 3070 syntax. The translator runs directly on your Agilent 3070 test system.

The software translator can be used as a stand alone product (without the test fixture adapter) if a new Agilent 3070 test fixture is desired, or in conjuction with the test fixture adapter, to provide for a complete migration of your existing Checksum test fixtures and programs to the Agilent 3070.
