If you are having problems with the processing of CAD data, or device simulation information, into the required input files of the in-circuit tester of your choice, you’re in good company. The processing of this information is time consuming and expensive, with the costs of translations routinely identified after manufacturing quotations are issued.
A number of good quality conversion products exist in the market today, but most are expensive and, individually, handle only a fraction of the available CAD and simulation systems in use. For contract manufacturers this situation is a nightmare. In order to process data into the in-circuit test system of choice, companies are forced to either purchase multiple CAD and simulation conversion products, or expensive add-on modules to existing software.
